Biking is a great way to maintain social distance while getting fresh air and exercise. Have you been wanting to get back on a bike, but it's been a while? Join UCSC TAPS and Ecology Action for one of our interactive online workshops or events to help keep you riding all year long:

Virtual Urban Cycling Workshops 

Bike confidence – it’s a thing. An overview of urban riding skills to level up your commute.

Bike Safety Distributions 

Free helmets and lights! Protect your most important intellectual property (your brain!), and get prepared for riding at night with lights. Reservations, masks, and social distancing are required for these events. Any newly arrived UCSC affiliates must complete their required 14-day quarantine before attending any in-person bike event.

On-Bike Safety Trainings

Staying upright is one thing, but what about shifting gears, signaling, avoiding obstacles, stopping quickly? On-bike skills clinic followed by a group ride on campus. Reservations, masks, and social distancing are required for these events. Any newly arrived UCSC affiliates must complete their required 14-day quarantine before attending any in-person bike event.
